The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon have its first call centre in Noida, the services of which are expected to begin from February 15. “In view of the demand from stakeholders about frequent two-way communication with the board, I have decided to establish a call centre at the board,” says Vineet Joshi, chairman, CBSE. According to Joshi, the call centre will respond to queries like affiliation, scholarships, examinations, academic matters, general enquiry, etc. “Tele callers for the call centre will be outsourced by CBSE. Before their appointment, they will be trained for their job,” informs Joshi. The facility will be open to both students and parents.
