Chennai: Supplementary exam results of Plus 2 are released today (July 28).
Earlier, the plus 2 exam results were released in the month of May. For those students failed in one to three subjects, the state education department conducted supplementary exams in the month of June/July. About one-lakh students appeared for the exam.
Results of these exams are released on July 28 at noon. Generally, the supplementary exam results are not released on the website. The students were able to know about their result only after collecting their mark sheets from the examination centers.
From this year onwards, the examination department and the education department have taken the initiative to provide supplementary results on the website. The results will be released on the websites www.dge1.tn.nic.in and www.pallikalvi.in
From July 30 onwards, the students can collect their mark sheets directly from the respective examination centers, said Vasundra, directorate of Govt. examinations. Students can also apply for answer sheet copies and re-totaling.
Application forms towards this can be obtained at the Chief education office and District education office from Aug 3 to Aug 5. Filled applications should be submitted at same office where the application was obtained before Aug 5, 5:45 PM.
The fees to obtain copies of the answer sheet are fixed at Rs550/- for Language subjects and Rs 275/- for other subjects. The fees for paper re-totaling are Rs 305/- for Language and Biology subjects, and Rs 205/- for other subjects.
