Flying a long way

Kolkata: Femina Miss India 2009, Pooja Chopra took a special grooming session with the students of Flying Cats and Global Retail School (GRS) on July 22. It was an interactive session where she discussed her journey to the Miss India pageant.

Centre directors, Manish Sood, Pushpesh Baid and Piyush Kheria and COO Anshu Bery were present at the event.

Manish Sood said, “In Kolkata, we have state-of-the-art infrastructure that provides an opportunity to youngsters aspiring to join the aviation and retail industry. We go much beyond books and exams and put the fun back into studying. As a result, our students are well-equipped with good practical knowledge and industry exposure. ”

Said Vishnuprya, a representative of GRS, “India’s retail sector is largely untapped and makes it a potential gold mine. Thus, we have designed international courses keeping in view the specific nuances of the retail sector in India. ”

Pooja Chopra, looking resplendent in a crimson dress said, “It’s a pleasure to see such young professionals who have their P’s and Q’s in place and are already so polished at such a young age. ”

All the programmes being offered by Flying cats and GRS are in technical collaboration with Annamalai University and are approved by DEC (Govt. Of India) that makes the students eligible for government jobs. The courses are as follows:
