Kansas varsity students visit Kerala B school

Seeking insight into Indias growth even in the midst of global economic slowdown,a team of 19 students from Kansas University School of Business has embarked on a three-week India Study Abroad Programme.
 
The Asian School of Business(ASB) here is hosting the visiting students, who will be travelling through major cities of south India to learn the intricacies of business practices across a wide spectrum of Indian economy.
 
The group, led by co-Directors of the KUSB, Prof K Joseph and Prof Joyce Claterbos, would visit Bangalore, Mysore and Kochi to get a feel of perse sectors such as IT, tourism, healthcare, mass manufacturing and retail, an ASB release said.
 
The programme comprises a  mix of classroom sessions delivered by ASB faculty together with industry visits and interaction with government officials and policymakers.
  
ASB's reach to the industry, programme design and execution capabilities had made the India Study Abroad Programme an annual feature, ASB Director Prof S Rajeev said.
  
ASB has also entered into a collaborative learning programme with a government-run management institution in Poland, Instytut Organizachi Zarzadzania W Przemysle (ORGMASZ) of Warsaw, and the central European University, the release said.
