UP High school board exams postponed

In view of Assembly elections, High School and Board examinations in Uttar Pradesh have been postponed to March 16.
   
A decision to this effect was taken by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (State Secondary Education Board).
   
The Parishad has revised the dates of High School and Intermediate examinations which were earlier scheduled from March 1, Director Secondary Education Sanjay Mohan said in a statement here.
   
The High School and Intermediate examinations would now start from March 16 and would end on April two and April 20 respectively, it said.
   
Elections in the state will be held in seven phases. Polling will be held on February four, eight, 11, 15, 19, 23 and 28.
