Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, affiliated to Delhi university, will get a new building. Delhi Chief minister Sheila Dikshit announced that the new building for the College will be built in Dwarka sector 3.
At present, the college has been functioning in a school building at Karampura. Estimated to be construct at the cost of Rs.150.98 cr, the building would atleast take 30 months to comeup for functioning.
The Delhi university also recently decided to change the name of Zakir Husain College to 'Zakir Husain Delhi College'.
