School teachers and head masters of schools run under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, were provided training programme by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Mahendra Nagpal, chairman of MCD's education committee told that the State Council Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has arranged a five days training programme for headmasters and 10 days programme for teachers. The training has been provided by Nine District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) centres.
Nagpal also told that teachers and headmasters will be informed about the new initiatives taken in the field like Right to Education and Child Rights.
