The Delhi government will set up a skill development training centre for construction workers within next three months.
Delhi Labour and Industries Minister Ramakant Goswami said the Construction Academy will start functioning from March next year and it is being set up to ensure quality construction
The academy will come at a labour welfare centre at Giri Nagar in Kalakaji area. The academy will impart skill development training to around 2,000 workers per annum.
"The number would be increased substantially at later stage. The workers will be provided boarding and lodging facilities during training," he said.
