Ahmedabad: The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, (IIM-A) is likely to increase its seat by 28pc from next year. Besides, increasing its student intake IIM-A is also planning to increase its faculty strength and bring about changes in curricula.
Prof BH Jajoo, dean, IIM-A said, "We have applicants from US and Europe who want to be associate with IIM-A as faculty. Some of them are teachers from foreign universities."
"We hope to have over 120 faculty members, up from 90, over the next few years," added Jajoo.
The Government has sanctioned Rs 32 crore for its expansion. It will raise the rest of the amount through internal accruals and alumni network.
