Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) has opened its doors to a larger number of prospective students from academic year 2012.
LIBA will now accept CAT scores as well in addition to XAT for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme, applications for which are open now.
The PGDM programme at LIBA is recognised by the AICTE and is rated one of the best in the country for marketing, finance, HR, international business, operations, systems and general management.
The application form can be downloaded on LIBA’s website www.liba.edu or in person at the campus and the last date for submission of the application form is February 20, 2012.
This year, due to higher demand, group discussions and personal interviews will be held at more centres across India besides Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai.
According to Fr P Christie, director, LIBA, “The popular programme has been revamped comprehensively for the new batch, to make it more contemporary and rigorous. New specialised courses like behavioral sciences and analytics have been added and workshops on subjects like creativity, business models, etc. are now integrated into the curriculum.”
“LIBA has had 100 per cent placement track record since inception and the average package at the campus has only been growing significantly year on year with newer companies coming to the campus for recruitment from across sectors,” added Susan Thomas, chairperson, placements of LIBA.
Highlighting advantages of the programme, Fr Emmanuel, dean of LIBA, said, “Besides offering a dual specialisation option in core subjects, LIBA also provides its PGDM students global exposure through international collaborations with reputed B-schools across all the continents in the world.”
The programme is aided by excellent in campus hostel facilities for both girls and boys and one of Asia’s largest management libraries. The new C K Prahalad Center for Emerging India focuses on ethics & corporate governance, retail management and behavioral sciences to add further value to a student’s exposure and learning.
