International workshop on Cyber Security

An International workshop of Cyber security is on at the Saint Joseph' College at nearby Irinjalakuda here.
    
The five day workshop, which began on Dec 6, is being sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC) centre for Innovative PG Studies on 'Cyber Security' attached with the Department of Mathematics of the college, its principal, Dr
Annie Kuriakose said.
   
Researchers, personnel from industry, teachers and Information Technology are participating in the workshop. IT exhibition with the active participation of multinational companies and regional educational institutions is also on as part of the workshop.
    
Experts in IT from the universities of USA, Australia and Canada are participating in the workshop as resources persons, she said.
   
Over 100 delegates are participating in the internaional event, she added.
