AICTE to set up regional office of Gujarat at MSU

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will set up its regional office for Gujarat region in Vadodara at M S University campus. The move by the statutory body of technical education in the country will benefit a large number of colleges and educational institutes from the state in the streams of engineering, polytechnic and management.

At present, educational institutes from the state have to approach AICTE's central regional office to get permissions for new project grants or additional seats at their respective institutes. AICTE has eight regional offices located at different locations in the country while its central regional office is located at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
