CBSE offers scholarship for higher studies

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education invited applications from students for scholarship in colleges and universities.

The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has started the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students since last year. Meritorious students from low-income families will be provided financial assistance  to meet day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the results of All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), the CBSE said.
