Class X public examination candidates would be spared the hassles of procuring community, income and residential proof certificates henceforth, with the district administration's move to issue these documents through schools.
At a consultative meet held here on Saturday, heads of schools were given instructions on mode of procuring and furnishing applications for issue of certificates. Soliciting their cooperation, Collector Jayashree Muralidharan requested heads to promptly forward the applications filled by students to the respective tahsildars.
This would ensure speedy issue of the certificates on the merit of information provided. Applications should include name of student in English and Tamil, father's name, village, taluk ,community and subsect, said a press release issued here.
Deputy Collector R.Shanmugapriya ,K.Sampath, Revenue Divisional Officer, T.Mohankumar, Chief educational officer and District educational officers, Ramachandran (Tiruchi), Mathi (Lalgudi) and Malarvizhi (Musiri) and V.Jeyakumar, Inspector of Matriculation schools and tahsildars from all taluks participated.
