Kingfisher Training Academy, Kolkata hosted a cultural extravaganza called Soar to the Top 2011 recently organised by its own students who participated in large numbers and created a superb evening of song, dance and drama.
The height of the event was a spectacular fashion show put up by almost 30 students. The students were from all parts of eastern India and the dance and drama participants too were a mix from Assam, Nepal, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal. This provided a great convergence of themes.
This was the first annual cultural event by KTA and the full team at Kolkata along with their friends and family members thanked the students for the outstanding performance and wished them luck and success for their careers in aviation and hospitality.
Jagir Singh Jabbal, director, expressed gratitude to Dr Vijaya Mallya, chairman UB Group and Rajesh Verma, the mentor of this academy for providing an opportunity to the youth of eastern India to attend a world-class training academy. He also announced that this would henceforth be an annual program for the academy.
