MNNIT convocation on Oct 29

Around 900 students of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) here will be awarded degrees on Oct 29 at a convocation ceremony.   

"Altogether 871 students, belonging to engineering, management and basic sciences will be awarded various degrees," MNNIT director P Chakrabarti told reporters.
  
The institute, set up in 1961 as a Regional Engineering College and elevated to the status of National Institute of Technology in 2002, will also celebrate 50 years of its establishment.
