IGNOU said it has roped in an assessment and guidance firm to boost employment opportunities of its students.
The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) of the university has signed an MoU with Integrated Learning Solution Pvt Ltd (ILS) to incorporate an open resource model called Wheebox, a learning tool for students and educators to promote and manage learning in India and abroad.
"Wheebox cloud-based platform is one of the research-based instructional design innovations of ILS which would help IGNOU learners to achieve better insights into their strengths and improve areas of employment," an IGNOU release said.
According to the MoU, signed by IGNOU Registrar U S Tolia and ILS Director Deepankar Sarkar, the university will add a link to ILS website, www.Wheebox.com.
The content authoring tool of Wheebox, according to the university, designs the learning plan and the content for the user on a real-time basis based on the insights of user's improvement area.
Thus, each user will have a personalised and customised content that is portable and browser independent, it added.
