RV-VLSI, a finishing school for engineering professionals, in association with JSS Mahavidyapeetha and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), today launched M.Tech program aimed at enhancing the employability of fresh engineering graduates, and IT services professionals.
Candidates, who enrol for the M.Tech program, will have access to the state-of-the-art lab and equipment worth Rs 400 crore, for 2 years during the duration of the course. The labs are on par with any R&D centre of well-known product companies, said Venkatesh Prasad, CEO-RV-VLSI.
Students with degrees in BE/B.Tech, in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, ISE and Electrical, MSc (CSc), MSc (IT), are eligible for the M.Tech programme. Classes for the first batch commences from November first week, said Prof. B. G. Sangameshwar, Principal, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore.
The fee for the two-year program is Rs. 1.5 lakh per year. Prof K Subramanian, Director, ACIIL-IGNOU, New Delhi, said.
