NIFT signs pact to provide joint degrees with FIT, New York

The premier fashion technology institute of the country has finalised a tie-up with a New York-based front-line fashion institute for providing joint degrees to the students.

An agreement has been finalised in this regard between National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) of New York and the formal signing will take place in the USA soon, according to HRD Ministry officials.
 
"Selected meritorious students from NIFT would avail of the unique opportunity to obtain a joint degree awarded both by NIFT and FIT with the signing of the agreement," said the officials.
 
FIT, New York, is an acclaimed institute under the aegis of State University of New York.
