Targetting aggressive growth, Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), a leading private educational trust in India, rebranded itself aiming to increase its footprint across the country.
The objective behind the latest initiative is to realign the corproate brand with the changed business and the current education sector realities, NTTF Managing Director N Reghuraj, told reporters here.
After starting off from Tellicherry in Kannur district 53 years ago, NTTF presently operates from 16 training centres including Bangalore, Chennai, Jamshedpur and Vellore, and has 10,000 students, he said adding 'we want to realign ourselves with tomorrow's requirements of manpower as there is lot of skill shortage'.
NTTF's new brand positioning is 'we secure your future with your own hands', reflecting the successful careers it has helped launch over last 50 uears in Indian and global markets, he said after rolling out the new logo and identity.
The 53-year-old NTTF was established with Swiss cooperation to provide purposeful quality education with excellent employment opportunities with qualifiations which are widely accepted by industries in India and abroad.
NTTF has one of the most rigorous Diploma programmes in India with emphasis on practical and hands on knowledge in mutiple disciplines. It provides technical training in mechanical engineering, electornics, information technology, computer engineeringa nd mechatronics streams at postgraduate, graduate, post diploma and certificate levels at its training centres.
Thirty per cent of the students are girls.
The foundation was also trying to work with industrial partners. We are in the search for good partners for new courses, N Arul Selvan, Chief Operating officer, said.
Over 400 industries recruit trained manpower from NTTF every year and the institute has set up training centres and manfuacturing pisions for International clients, he said.
The 47th convocation of the foundation was held in which 2000 students passed out.
