Dr Kalam delivers lecture on CIET silver jubilee

New Delhi: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former Presidents of India and noted scientist known as the missile man had delivered a lecture on silver jubilee celebration of Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET).

CIET is a part of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). The silver jubilee celebration was organised at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D).

Addressing the gathering Dr Kalam said, 'Technical education, e-learning, quality library and dynamic schools should be strengthened in order to be on par by 2020.'

He also suggested teachers of IITs and other scientific institutes to visit the schools in surrounding rural areas to develop an inclination among students towards science.
