Dr. Jeffery P. La Fage is given in the memory of Dr. Jeffery. P. La Fage for his auspicious contribution in the field of agriculture by devising novel and innovative methods to control the influx of termites and other harmful insects which damage the crops of farmers. The foundation expects the same enthusiasm and devotion from its budding scholars. Grants are offered to such imminent, talented, and optimistic scholars who wish to achieve something incredible in the field of agriculture. The scholarship is organized by Entomological Society of America.

Eligibility for the Jeffery P. LaFage Graduate Student Research Award:

• Candidate should hold a graduate degree and should be willing to pursue his/her post doctoral or the doctoral program in future after graduation.
• Candidate should be interested in the study of insects so that he/she could hamper the hazardous destruction made by these little organisms.
• Candidate should be imbibed in the advanced research of entomology and pest control and should strive to take part in indispensable activities that could result in vital conclusion and bring radical change in the global economic scenario.
• Budding candidates should have devotion, and dedication to help the farmers by producing innovative ideas and mechanism to control the pests so that they could get good yield of the crop.
