Introduction

The Scholarship for doctoral studies will be offered by Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fund which offer scholarship for the period of 2 years to all the students of India along with the students from Asian countries for carrying out their PH.D course in India.

The Eligibility Scholarship For Doctoral Studies

Candidates applying for the scholarship must hold postgraduate degree in first class with the minimum percentage of 60% marks.
Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.
He should be full time scholar in PhD and should be registered himself for this course from reputed Indian university.
Candidates applying for scholarship studied the respective subjects mentioned in the application form of scholarship.

Benefits of scholarship

This scholarship will include the maintenance allowance in which tuition fee is also included of Rs 9000 per month.
This will also include contingent expenses which will come up to Rs 12000 per annum in which all the necessary expenses like tours within India along with thesis, books and stationary cost. This expense will also cover train fare from the residence to the particular place of study.

Application procedure Scholarship For Doctoral Studies

Students applying from scholarship have to get their application form from Administrative Secretary, Jawaharlal Nehru fund new Delhi by sending a postal money or demand draft of Rs 100 in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fund. Application form should be complete in all aspects and should contain all the necessary documents should reach to the concerned address mentioned in the application form, as the format prescribed for it but reach before the fixed date mentioned in the application form.

The date which is mentioned for last applying is the month of May.
