The National Research Fellowships granted by the Indian Council of Historical Research are generally provided to:

The colleges and the other institutions are very reputed and recognized historians in the universities.
However, in certain cases, the national fellow may not have to be associated with such educational institutes and in such cases he / she will receive the grants directly.

Duration Indian Council of Historical Research National Fellowship:

The Indian Council of Historical Research National Fellowships are awarded for a maximum period of 2 years which can be extended by another one year in certain exceptional cases.

The printed application form and the notification should be submitted, complete in all respects to the Indian Council of Historical Research 35, Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi 110001, within the prescribed date.
