1,400 poor children given scholarships

1,400 children from poor families were given scholarships on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti by a city-based organisation here.
 
Ramnavmi Utsav Committee led by Editor-in-Chief of the Hind Samachar group, Vijay Kumar Chopra, gave away Rs 300 scholarship each to the 1,400 children yesterday.

A medical camp was also organised for the children to mark the day.
