The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has introduced a scholarship programme for women for training in Intellectual Property Rights. The scheme is being offered by the department in collaboration with the Centre for Cooperation in Science and Technology among Developing Societies (CCSTDS).
Postgraduates and Ph.D. holders will be given a stipend of Rs.10,000 and Rs.15,000 a month respectively.
Candidates will have to clear an entrance test and an interview.
Those with M.Sc. or Ph.D. in physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences; B.Tech., B.E. or M.Tech.; MBBS, MS, MD; M.V.Sc.; and M.Pharm. are eligible to apply. For more details of the programme, visit www.ccstds.tn.nic.in
