Deakin University Australia offering scholarships to Indian students for the years 2013 and 2014

Deakin University, Australia is offering scholarships and bursaries for Indian students applying for admissions to Deakin University for the years 2013 and 2014. These scholarships have been designed for specific courses and are based on students meeting the required academic criterion.

The Deakin course specific bursaries that are aimed to help students applying for postgraduate courses in management and related fields, information technology and biotechnology provide a 20% tuition fee reduction for the Indian students. The total benefit through this bursary is over AUD 9,000 (nine thousand) for every eligible applicant.

Deakin University is also offering scholarships for its postgraduate engineering course. The engineering program at Deakin is greatly in demand due to the unique provision of being able to work with the Australian industry for 6 months as part of the course. The value of the scholarship offered ranges from AUD 3,000 to AUD 7,000 and helps students from India overcome the challenges of dollar exchange rates.
