Four BTech students of MNNIT have been given the OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarship 2012. The scholarship is awarded by Jindal Steel & Power Limited in the memory of founding father of the organization, OP Jindal, to students who exhibit outstanding competency and personality traits. In the engineering stream, one hundred scholarships are awarded to students from chosen institutions across the nation. The scholarship includes a cash award of Rs 65,000/- per student, a medal, a certificate and a letter of commendation.
The students who have received the scholarship are Anamika Gupta, BTech (Computer Science & Engineering) IV Yr, Ayushi Agarwal, BTech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) III Yr., Pakhi Agarwal, BTech (Computer Science & Engineering) III Yr, and Ayush Gupta, BTech (Electrical Engineering) II Yr. They have been selected through an on-line examination conducted by the Scholarship sponsors in conjunction with the Office of Dean Student Welfare, MNNIT on September 7.
