10th supplementary exam results to be released on Aug 10

Results of supplementary exams for 10th standard would be released on Aug 10.

Standard 10th supplementary exams were held in the month of June and July for students having failed upto 3 subjects in SSLC, Matriculation, Anglo Indian and OSLC public exams. More than 1 lakh students had appeared for these exams.

According to Vasunthara Devi, the director of examination department, 'supplementary exam results would be released on Aug 10 through examination department website and school education department website'.

Students can get their mark sheets from Aug 18 to Aug 20 at the centres in which they had written the exams. Applications for retotalling would be issued from Aug 11 to Aug 13 at all Distirct education offices and Regional offices of deputy director of examination department. In chennai, retotalling applications would be available at Chief education office and 4 district education offices.

Filled applications for retotalling should be submitted in person before Aug 13, 5pm. Fee for single paper is fixed as Rs 205 and for double paper subject(language paper) as Rs 305. Students from Chennai district should pay the amount through DD while other district students have to pay the amount through treasuries.

Applications need to be submitted at the centres from where it was bought.
