Less than 50% pass in instant exams

Plus 2 instant exam results seemed shocking as only 43.05% students have passed this exam.

Out of 95,635 candidates who appeared for the exams, 41,178 students have passed and 54,457 students have failed.

Instant exams were conducted for students who failed upto 3 subjects in plus 2 public exams and the results were released on 25 July. Students who failed the instant exam, can appear on october. He/She cannot join higher studies for this academic year(2011-2012).

Instant exam system was introduced for the purpose of saving a year of  students who failed upto 3 subjects in public exams. But, it is to be noted that every year the pass percentage of this exams reach only upto 50%.
