Delhi University announced the results of the joint entrance test for the bachelor of business economics (BBE) on Sunday. A total of 2,800 candidates have been shortlisted for counselling which will start on July 4.
Over 15,500 students appeared for the entrance test, which is also conducted for courses like bachelor of business studies (BBS) and bachelor of financial investment and analysis (BFIA). The results for BBS and BFIA were declared earlier as the admission process also involves interview and group discussions. BBE admissions are based on Class XII marks and the entrance test score. The ranking of the shortlisted candidates is based on equal weightage to both. In all, 11,000 students took the test for the business economics programme which is offered by 10 colleges and has 550 seats.
The first counselling will start from July 4 at the arts faculty, South Campus. Last year, all the seats for the general category were exhausted in the first counselling itself.
