JIPMER exam result on June 1

The result of the entrance exam held at the all India level for selection of students to MBBS course for the academic year 2012-2013 will be released on June 1 by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and research.

Seventyfive per cent of the 40,000 candidates who had applied for the entrance test in various parts of the country simultaneously appeared for the test on May 27.

The institute provides 145 seats in the MBBS course and evaluation of answer sheets was now in progress, JIPMER sources said.
