"As the university introduces more courses in the coming years and people get to know about the university, there will be more applications. We must not forget that it's a one-year-old institution," Vice-chancellore Prof G K Chaddha said.
First academic session of the university started in August 2010. Saarc has eight members, namely, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
