Chennai: M.K. Azhagiri, the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers will lay the foundation stone for High Learning Centre at the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) here on August 3.
Constructed at a cost of Rs.20 crore, the complex, will have a built- up area of 12,682 square metres, will provide platform for excellence in scientific research in polymeric material and engineering network amongst universities, research institutions and industries.
According to an official source, the complex will also facilitate transfer of technology, release.
