Ayurvedic Seminar on Osteoporosis

An International Ayurvedic Seminar on 'Osteoporosis' would be held at nearby Amala on Aug 20, under the auspices of the Amala Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre.

 
Associate Director of the Research Centre, Father Deljo Puthur told reporters here  that various Ayurvedc prespective on Osteoporosis would be discussed in the seminar.
 
Dr Scott Chacko John from Germany would be the resource person of the session on 'Allopathic Perspective on Osteoporis and Dr Marianne Hoivold from Norway would be the resource person for the session on 'International Prespective on Osteoporosis', he added.
 
He said that over 10 foreign delegates would be attending the seminar.
 
Prof Emeritus Dr R H Singh, Dr K Rajagopalan and Director of the Ayurveda Medical Education, Dr T Sivadas would be participating in the seminar, he said.
 
Over 200 foreign nationals undertake treatments annually at the Ayurveda Hospital here.
