Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) has stepped in to   69th training centre in the city at Jayanagar 3rd Block

The new centre has modern infrastructure facilities with wellequipped labs, high-end computers and a production oriented learning environment.

Addressing a seminar at the launch, Aruna Kumar, Vice President and Zonal Head (South), said, India is seen as one of the dominant consumers of animation and gaming content because of its vast majority of youth population.

Speaking about the academy, which is a division of Maya Entertainment Limited, Kumar said that they provide real world skills to their students in addition to academic curriculum through initiatives like 24 FPS student short films, MAAC Creative Shop, Srijan and more.

MAAC presently operates over 65 fully equipped centres pan-India.

It has an exclusive association with the University of Cambridge, to validate its diploma courses and recently announced an exclusive training programme tie-up with IGNOU as well.
