 Science Express

Science Express is a train which has an exhibition on bio diversity aimed at creating awareness on bio diversity of the country, climate change and related issues among students and teachers.

There are 8 colleges to bio geographical zones like Himalayas, Gangetic plain and the Western Ghats. One coach is dedicated for climate change and another on sustainable environment. There is a kid zone as well as puzzles in Science & Mathematic zone also.

There is another coach called “July of Science” meant for the students to organise their own experiments.  Facilities are provided for discussions also. No ticket for the visiting students and teacher in this science Express which will halt at Chennai on 27.07.2013.  The program organized by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Environment and tour will travel through Cuddalore, Trichy, Kudal Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Alapuzha, Coimbatore, Kozhikode.
