17 year old Vijayashanthi Chandrasekar was selected for a one year diploma programme funded by US consulate. Whe is from a very poor background. She lost her father at her 9^th age. She grew up watching her mother do chores every day in the households. It is worth mention that this girl won International Scholarship for Community College students.
