Single Window Admission in Arts and Science colleges. Is it possible in Tamil Nadu

What is single window system?

Single Window System is a process through which the students completing XII get admissions in the desired colleges according to their academic performance by applying in one place.  The cut off marks will decide the admission of the students in the colleges in the  state.  This isappreciated as a student friendly and transparent system. Tamil Nadu Govt follows this system since 1997 for Engineering and Medical admissions.

Introducing the same system to admit the students in various ars and science colleges is under discussions.  But, the decision may not take place this year, according to the relable sources.
