Work of engineering students in the field of computer science and electronics research was showcased in an event organised by a city-based Information Technology college.
The two-day event, 'Research Showcase', organised by Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) exhibited the state-of-the-art technology in computer science and electronics research that can be directly applied in areas of public interests like healthcare, energy conservation and online social networks.
The third annual event of the college also provides a platform to tech-savvy students to have a healthy discussion with industry leaders and top scholars from across the country.
Pushpendra Singh, event organiser said, "'Research Showcase' is intended for faculty of other institutes, industry professionals, students, parents and other tech-savvy visitors. We particularly invite students and esteemed faculty members from various technical institutes all over India."
The programme showcased research and development efforts at IIIT-Delhi, covering areas like Emerging Architecture and System Design, Information Management and Data Analytics, Mobile and Ubiquitous computing, Cryptography and Forensics, Privacy and Security, Software Engineering and Theory.
