The Kakatiya University's biotechnology department will organise a three-day global conference from February 7 to 9 on the topic of 'Biotechnology For Human Welfare'.
Scientists from Germany, US, China, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, Iran and internationally reputed Indian scientists expected to take part in the conference.
A Sadanandam, department head, said, "Overall, 200 abstracts encompassing various disciplines like biological sciences and interdisciplinary subjects like biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, microbiology and pharmaceutical sciences will be presented by delegates from different universities."
Delegates are expected to deliberate on important issues like plant biotechnology, molecular biology and sustainable agriculture.
