Park Global School Kaniyur to hold two day Maths and science festival IGNITE

The two-day 'extravagant culmination of all science and maths phenomenon', would be held at Park Global School at Kaniyur, on the city outskirts from Dec 3.

In +IGNITE+, initiated by Anusha, CEO of Park Institutions, the students will evince their scientific and Mathematic calibre through explanation and demonstration of their projects, which will be displayed for public view.

The event is organized with a primary motive of broadening the academic vistas of scholastic curriculum and giving a creative outlet to the accumulated inquisitiveness in every child, a release said.

Projects would be based on concepts such as environment conservation, productive waste management, Vedic Maths puzzles, Sudoku, Model Bank, Volcano eruption, Phototropism, instant home remedies for minor ailments, risk of Obesity and effective tips for leading a healthy life, Chemistry and Physics projects that arouse curiosity such as ‘Dancing Ice’, it said.

A former DRDO Scientist and Emeritus, Venkatakrishnaiah, will inaugurated the Ignite 2012.
