IIMK holds its global alumni meet "sangam 2012"

The International Annual Alumni meet of the IIM Kozhikode, 'Sangam 2012' was held here.  

The event is organized worldwide on concurrent saturdays' at Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Dallas,Dubai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, London, Mumbai, New Delhi (Gurgaon), New Jersey, Singapore and other centers, a press release said.
 
Prof Joshy Joseph, Chairperson of Alumni relations & Activity committee of the IIMK Alumni Association inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
 
IIM alumnus holds key position in top corporate world over. He also indicated that the Institute will be looking forward and also will supporting social development projects initiated by Alumni association Chapters.
 
Central Bank of India AGM K Santosh attended the event as special invitee and also spoke on the occasion. He said that the bank is looking towards young people, support students education and have also started recruiting IIM Graduates for corporate level responsibilities.
 
Bhupesh, Manager P V S Memorial Hospital ltd, Chapter head of IIM-K Alumni Association, Cochin Chapter, made a presentation about the activities and vision of the Chapter.
 
Balakrishnan, Chief Technology officer of Geojit BNP Paribas and educationalist Krishnaswami moderated the open house and technical sessions.
 
SANGAM, the Global Alumni meet is a platform where every year the faculty, alumni and students of IIM Kozhikode, take time off from their busy schedule to reunite with their alma_mater and to cherish the memorable moments of their college days at IIM-K.
