Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences is organising the 5th edition of Aeroplus 2012 which would showcase a "real" world of Aviation which will feature Aeromodelling shows among others.
The College campus is equipped with 8 Cessna 150 and 152, Lear Jet 25 B, King Air C 90 aircraft and Bell and EnStrom F28 Helicopters as part of International standards of practical training, which would be displayed at the Aeroplus for the benefit of the students and public according to the secretary of Nehru Group of Institutions Mr. P.Krishnakumar.
The newly acquired Hawker 125, a business jet aircraft, will be a special adition at the four day expo 2012 besides stalls from ISRO and Police department, he told reporters.
Mr. Krishnakumar further said that the institution was offering four programmes in aeronautical science and aircraft maintenance and MBA programme in Airlines and Airport Management.
