IIM Trichy celebrates first anniversary day

IIM-Trichy celebrated its First Foundation day on Jan 5, would launch Faculty development Programme to cater to the needs of Educational Insitutes across the Country, Profulla Agnihotri, IIM-T Director said.
 
The Faculty Development programme would be introduced in Tamil Nadu First, and then extended to other parts of the country, he told reporters here on the sidelines of the function organised to celebrate the first Foundation day.
 
The Institute, though just one year old, would be offering Fellowship Programme in Management from the forthcoming Academic year, though such courses were offered in only senior institutes.
 
The staff strength of the Insitute would be increased to 20 from the present 16 shortly, considered the highest among the new IIMs, he said.
