Uttarakhand to provide free coaching under PPP mode

The Uttarakhand government has decided to provide free coaching of professional courses to students all over the state under the PPP mode.
 
The free coaching of engineering, medical and other professional courses will be provided to students under the ublic-private-partnership (PPP) mode at all district headquarters including girl inter-colleges at Gopeshwar and Haldwani, an official release said here.
 
With this, students of far-flung areas will get career counselling and coaching free of cost.
 
Besides, five residential schools under the name of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Abhinav Vidyalaya will be set up at Uttarkashi, Udham Singh Nagar, Rudra Prayag, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts.
 
These decision were taken at a meeting where Chief Secretary Subhash Kumar reviewed the progress of PPP projects being undertaken in the state, the release said.
 
He directed all officers concerned to give impetus to the projects of PPP mode so that its benefit could be provided to the common man.
