Officiating Registrar M M Bedekar said in the notice that "all institutions within the statutory limits of the Vadodara city not having the consent of the MSU and the sanction of the state government, are hereby instructed to stop their illegal activities of enrolling students and providing them with degrees/diploma/certificates of other universities within ten days".

Authorities said it had come to their notice that some institutions in the city were offering degrees/diplomas of other universities.
