Kingsway College of London to set up training centre

Westminster Kingsway College of London will set up a centre here for training master trainers of vocational courses.

College Assistant Principal Nicole Barber and Head of Marketing Ijeoma Akigwe had met Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and assured him of opening a centre here, officials said.
 
They told the Chief Minister that his interest have made them to explore the possibilities of investment opportunities in the areas of vocational training, skill development in the education sector here, they said.
 
The visit of Barber and Akigwe comes after Gogoi's visit to the premier college in London in August.
 
During the course of the discussions, the two pointed out that they have come here on a two-day visit to explore the possibility of partnering State Education Department in imparting training to teachers and introducing vocational courses in colleges.
 
Barber and Akigwe also visited several institutions, including ITI, Guwahati and Cotton College.
