The Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges headed by former Kerala High Court judge P.A. Mohammed has said that admission conducted by self-financing professional colleges to M.Sc. (Nursing) without its permission will be invalid.

According to a press release here on Tuesday, the committee directed all institutions conducting M.Sc. (Nursing) course in the State to submit all the documents asked by it by September 26.

The committee recalled that on noticing that many self-financing professional colleges were conducting M.Sc. (Nursing) course, it had demanded the submission of all relevant documents by institutions offering the course. However, not all institutions have complied with this direction yet.

Even those colleges who complied with the direction are yet to submit crucial documents. In the wake of this, the committee asked all self-financing colleges offering M.Sc. (Nursing) to submit the following documents by September 26:

Order of affiliation for the conduct of the course, letter of permission, copies of agreement entered into with the government and government orders regarding the admission of students and fees, six copies of prospectus, complete details of admission procedures, and conditions suggested by the Kerala Health University.
