Rs 4,000-cr alloted for development of education sector in AP

Andhra Pradesh minister T Narasimhulu has said that Rs 4,000 crore has been allocated in the state budget this year for the development of education sector.
   
He said the state government took an initative to develop education sector with an aim to provide education to all and development of infastracture facilities, for which it has provided Rs 4,000 crore.
   
Right to Education Act will be implemented to provide education to all, he said. Out of Rs 4,000 crore, Rs 32 lakhs will be given to each school. About 1,000 new schools have been opened, he said on the occasion of Teachers Day celebrations yesterday.
   
He said the teachers play a vital role in view of the future of students. They must create awareness among all subjects and brief the merit and demerits of education.
 
"They (teachers) are leaders of the society. Everything depends upon their teachings," he said presenting awards and appreciation certificates to 104 teachers.
